Mt. Carmel Health, Wellness and Community Center, Trinidad
Amount Awarded: $2,500
Purpose of Grant: Funds to support the Food Box Program which provides emergency food baskets to families with children and teens, elderly adults, and those impacted by unemployment in Las Animas County.
La Junta Associate Charities, La Junta
Amount Awarded: $2,000
Purpose of Grant: Funds to provide direct food assistance and other basic necessities to those residing in the Arkansas Valley communities.

Purpose of Grant: Funds designated to support a variety of programs that serve immigrant workers living below the poverty level, such as:
Green Chili Bike Bank, Pueblo
Amount Awarded: $1,000
Purpose of Grant: Funds to purchase miscellaneous parts and supplies to equip the bike bank and its volunteers to sustain programs designed to provide a means of bike transportation for the homeless and marginalized. To date, nearly 1,000 bike have been provided. In addition, clients are introduced to other services that serve the homeless, helping them find access to food, clothing and housing. Tom and Louie’s Cupboard (TLC), Pueblo
Amount Awarded: $1,000
Purpose of Grant: Resources to help Tom and Louie’s Cupboard provide 500 food baskets to families during the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Funding from the Catholic Foundation assists with the purchase of turkeys for the food drive. TLC celebrated its 30th year serving the community in 2025.

Purpose of Award: Funding for the parish Aid to the Needy program which serves the rural San Luis Valley, providing utility and rent assistance, gas vouchers for stranded travelers as well as temporary lodging and assistance to seasonal migrant farmworkers.

Purpose of Grant: Funding to provide resources and supplies for the parish operated food bank which serves those residing in Archuleta County.

Holy Trinity-St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry/Emergency Fund, Trinidad

Purpose of Grant: Funding to support the parish operated food bank which provides food, gas vouchers, and emergency utility assistance.
Delta Food Pantry, Delta
Amount Awarded: $3,000
Purpose of Award: Funding to purchase both fresh food and shelf staple items for distribution to families in need.
Fisher’s Peak Soup Kitchen, Trinidad
Amount Awarded: $1,500
Purpose of Grant: Funds to support the volunteer-run soup kitchen with food costs and other ordinary expenses as it provides over 3,800 hot lunches to the elderly, homeless and the struggling in the Trinidad area (per month), as well as delivering over 1,750 food baskets to the elderly in the greater Las Animas county.
Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, Alamosa
Amount Awarded: $3,500
Purpose of Grant: Funding to facilitate flooring repairs for the San Luis Food Pantry, a partner of the Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, in order to provide a sanitary and safe workplace for volunteers and clients requiring emergency food assistance throughout the greater Conejos County.
Three Sisters Market Food Pantry- Avondale Resident Team, Avondale
Amount Awarded: $2,000
Purpose of Grant: Funds to provide fresh and healthy food, plus other resources, to families in the rural Avondale community.
Pueblo Cooperative Care Center, Pueblo
Amount Awarded: $3,000
Purpose of Grant: Funds to support one of the largest non-profit emergency assistance program in southern Colorado in working prevent hunger and improve the quality of life for citizens residing in Pueblo County as they offer services with a meaningful and enduring impact. Purpose of Grant: Funds designated for operational expenses for the shelter which provides emergency food and overnight shelter to those in need, offering a hand up, not a handout. The shelter provides a nightly meal and breakfast. In addition, case management services are offered on Mondays. The shelter is run by volunteers. Grand Valley Catholic Outreach, Grand Junction
Amount Awarded: $6,000
Purpose of Grant: Funding to sustain programs, such as the Day Center and the Clothing Bank, in order to help people with material needs, many of whom are one paycheck away from becoming homeless, or who have already become homeless. Additional grant funding was provided to offset the influx of needs created by the closing of Howeward Bound ‘s North Avenue Emergency Shelter. Sparrow House Ministries, Lamar
