Invest in the Future Leadership of our Church- Support Vocations!
In every generation, God calls men to step forward in faith, courage, and trust to serve His people as priests. Currently, in the Diocese of Pueblo, we are blessed to accompany five seminarians who are discerning and preparing for this sacred vocation. Each has heard the quiet but persistent call of the Lord and has responded with generosity– embarking on a journey that will shape, not only their lives, but the the spiritual future of our diocese. Meet the men who have answered God’s call… and who are praying for us.
The Seminary Burse Fund, managed by the Catholic Foundation, was established to help defray the cost of education and formation of seminarians, which averages $50,000 per year, per seminarian. Your gift will help support and sustain these young men as they prepare to answer God’s call to ministry. May the Holy Spirit bless and guide them along the way. Building the Future- One donation at a time
The Capuchin Poor Clare sisters have lived in and served the Catholic Diocese of Pueblo for over 21 years, living in cloistered “temporary housing” in the historic Grove section of Pueblo. These women have dedicated their lives to prayer on behalf of our diocese. After years of planning and prayer, construction of their new home in our diocese is compete, and they now have a sacred space worthy of their charism. Alleluia!
This project would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and generosity of many. And although construction is over, the work of fundraising continues. The Catholic Foundation has established the Poor Clare Endowment Fund to provide for the future needs of the Poor Clare Nuns in our diocese and has pledged a $25,000 matching gift!
